A message from The Colwill Family....

There is nothing more important to us than family and as a family, we have spent the last 45 years not only making Wooda a holiday park like no other but creating a destination where at it’s heart, it’s about spending quality time with friends and family and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Since we first opened 45 years ago, not only has the business grown but so has our family. We have a dedicated team of just over 30 who with a huge amount of care and enthusiasm make everything we do at Wooda possible. We care very much about our family and their health and welfare is of the utmost importance to us.

The Coronavirus pandemic has affected us all, and it is likely that it might continue for some time to come. In line with the UK government’s advice about avoiding non-essential travel and the increased risk of spreading the virus, as of today (Saturday 21st March 2020), we as a family, have taken the hard, but we feel the responsible decision to close Wooda for the foreseeable future. We will continue to assess the ever-changing situation day-by-day and week-by-week and keep you informed with our expected opening date.

We have contacted all our customers due to holiday with us before the end of April. We will then review the situation and if we feel we need to remain closed, will contact all our customers that this will affect.

Thank you SO much for being an important part of our Wooda family. Please stay safe and take care of yourself and your loved ones. We are in this together and we will get through this together.

FAQ's

Why is Wooda Closed?

We felt we needed to close the park to protect the health of all our staff, customers and surrounding community by helping to avoid spreading the infection. We are also following the government guidelines of no 'non-essential travel'.

I have a booking in April, what will happen?

We will contact you to rearrange an alternative date for later in 2020 or for the 2021 season. If you are unable to rebook at this time, we will hold your monies paid on your account to be used against a future booking before the end of the 2021 season.

What if my booking is for May onwards?

We are continuously monitoring the situation and will be in touch with you if your future booking is affected by the park closure.

Should I pay my holiday balance if it is due?

If your holiday balance is due for payment, you do not have to pay this. You will not loose your reservation even though our terms and conditions state balance payments must be made 42 days in advance. We will be in touch with you once the park re-opens and if of course the park closure affects your reservation, we will let you know via email. Thank you.
