This 1960’s bungalow is anything but retro, it has recently undergone a transformation fusing cool modern interiors and understated coastal luxury to create a chic beach house.
Just a stone’s throw from Crooklet’s Beach and Bude town centre, this self-catering property has an enviable location giving couples and families the perfect base to explore this dramatic section of Cornwall’s coastline.
The cool, contemporary open-plan living area has been inspired by the natural beauty of the Cornish coast. Soft blue tones create a welcoming and calming space to relax and unwind. The kitchen has all the practicalities for modern day living including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer and tumble dryer.
The king-size bed is adorned with squishy pillows ensuring a blissfully restorative night’s sleep. The monsoon rainfall shower in the family bathroom is perfect for washing off sand after a day at the beach. Bi-fold doors open out from the cosy living area onto the gravelled patio; an ideal spot to soak up the sun. The enclosed garden with far-reaching views across the nature reserve is the ideal place to enjoy al fresco suppers before gently ambling to the nearby beach to watch the sun melt into the ocean.
In winter months there’s nothing more snug than an evening spent fireside. Curl up on the sofa and watch the flickering flames of the wood burner whilst sipping your favourite glass of red wine.
The South West Coast Path runs close to the house, taking ramblers on a breath-taking journey along the rugged coast. When not adventuring along the coast, enjoy Bude’s boutique shops, picturesque canal and famous surf breaks.
There is off-road parking available for one car. Located to the side of the property is a large shed that houses a table tennis table and makes ideal storage for bikes, surf boards and wetsuits.
Pebbles is such a special place to spend quality time with your nearest and dearest. The beach location and pretty interior make this a truly magical place to stay.
Please Note: During school holiday periods, Pebbles must be booked from Friday to Friday. A minimum of a three night stay applies at all other times.
We know that people’s lives are busy and sometimes a short break away can be just what is needed to refresh, revitalise and re-energise. Short breaks are available between January and December, excluding the main school holidays. From 22nd July – 26th August only Saturday to Saturday bookings are accepted.
To work out the cost of a break, please refer to the pricing tariff. A minimum of a three night stay applies.
Celebrate the festive season in our coastal cottages surrounded by your loved ones.
We have three coastal inspired self-catering luxury holiday cottages. Tregea and Brambles are adjacent to the holiday park and Pebbles is set in the heart of Bude town.
Reservations must run from Sat to Sat between 20th July – 24th August 2024. The holiday cottages will be available from 4pm on the day of your arrival. We ask you to vacate your cottage by 10am on the day of departure.
If you are arriving after 6pm, we would appreciate if you could let us know ahead of time. If this is the case, please check in using your online account and make your way directly to your holiday cottage. A key code will be emailed to you on the day of arrival, please use this to access the key box outside your holiday cottage.
We require a deposit of 25% of the overall cost of your holiday to secure your booking. The deposit paid is non-refundable. The balance for your accommodation is payable 42 days before the day of your arrival. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in the loss of your deposit and cancellation of your booking. You will receive a balance reminder via email when your balance is due.
We appreciate your circumstances can change resulting in cancellation or amendment of your holiday. We will always do our best to accommodate your requirements where we can, subject to cost and availability. Cancellations must be put into writing. If you cancel your holiday 42 days before arrival the deposit will be lost. If you cancel less than 42 days before arrival the balance will be lost. Unfortunately no refunds are issued so we strongly advise you take out your own holiday insurance.
Some amenities may be restricted according to demand at the beginning and end of the season. This includes The Courtyard Bar, Lodge Takeaway, on-site shop and some park activities. The badminton court may also be unavailable due to functions out of the main season. Pebbles is located in the main town of Bude but the parks facilities are all available for use when the park is open.
