Bude’s Unmissable Lifeboat Weekend

Date: Saturday 24th - Monday 26th August

The annual Bude Lifeboat Weekend is held across the full three days of the August bank holiday (24th – 26th) and is one of the best weekends of the year.

The whole town has a relaxed, festival feel and there is plenty going on for all the family.
The weekend is crammed full of activities and attractions, including live music from local bands, brass bands and choirs, food stalls and BBQ, funfair rides, a children’s disco, a quiz night and a competitively priced bar. Activities occur mainly around the canal at the Wharf area and the Castle Grounds.
The Lifeboat Weekend ends in style with the Grand Firework Finale at 9.30pm on Monday.
Come along and show your support for Bude RNLI whilst having an amazing weekend.

Sea & Smoke Feast Night

Date: Sunday 18th August

Temple is one of Bude’s leading restaurants serving fresh local produce. This summer they have a calendar of events that fuse chilled out sessions with exceptional food. On Sunday 18th August, join them for an outdoor fresh seasonal BBQ feast, a Temple Bar, local DJ’s, Sunday chills & sea air. We recommend bringing some blankets to keep warm and sit on, also a knife + fork. This is a night of great food, chilled vibes, good music and hopefully epic sunsets!

Location: Margaret’s Tea Room, Northcott Beach.

Brass On The Grass

Date: Sunday 18th August

Bude Castle are welcoming Bude Town Band and Bude Metric Brass back to The Castle grounds to perform in their bandstand.They will be playing on the following dates (from 2pm – 4pm):

FREE TO ATTEND and you are more than welcome to bring your own chairs and picnics, you can also grab a picnic bag or other refreshments from Cafe Limelight upstairs in The Castle.

Budelicious

Date: 21st - 23rd September

Budelicious is a showcase of wonderful artisan food and drink producers in the area. It is a real treat for the taste buds and an event not to be missed!

Budelicious includes ‘street-food’ vendors outside the Falcon Hotel; an Artisans’ Hall, where local area producers will taste and sell their wares; a Marquee where our fantastic local and celebrity chefs will demonstrate their skills; a family area, with children’s entertainment and Cornish Musicians to close the Festival

The event is led by celebrity chef Peter Gorton (Master Chef of GB) a past Guide Michelin star winner.
