Booking Conditions

Reservations
Reservations must run from Sat to Sat between 27th May – 3rd June and from Sat to Sat or Mon to Mon between 22nd July – 26th August. The holiday caravans will be available from 4pm on the day of your arrival. We ask you to vacate your accommodation by 10.00am on the day of departure. We reserve the right to re-let your accommodation if not claimed by 6.00pm unless prior arrangements have been made with us.

Bookings
We require a deposit of 25% of the overall cost of your holiday to secure your booking. The deposit paid is non-refundable. Provisional bookings made by telephone will be cancelled after 7 days if not confirmed in writing with a deposit. We accept no responsibility for mistakes made when booking and paying a deposit over the telephone so please make sure you check your confirmation carefully once received.

Bookings during the COVID19 pandemic

Should your booked holiday be unable to commence due to reasons surrounding the COVID19 pandemic, any payment you have made is non-refundable unless the park is closed by the Government, or Government restrictions prevent you from travelling. We strongly advise that you take out our cancellation policy, or have your own holiday insurance to cover reasons for cancellation due to Coronavirus.

Alteration to Bookings

Once your booking has been confirmed, any change, however small, will incur a £5 administration charge.
Amendments to your booking are unable to be made upon your arrival.

Number in Party

The number of persons including children occupying the holiday caravan must not exceed 5 in 2 bedroom caravans or 6 in 3 bedroom caravans at any one time. No all male, all female, mixed groups or large parties are permitted. Families and Couples only.

Confirmation

Your booking will be confirmed in writing once a deposit has been received. This could be in the form of an email if an email address is specified. Please make sure you check your confirmation carefully to make sure your booking details are correct. Email addresses might also be used by ourselves for marketing purposes but WILL NOT be passed onto third parties.

Balance Payments

The balance for your accommodation is payable 42 days before the day of your arrival. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in the loss of your deposit and cancellation of your booking. You will receive a balance reminder via email when your balance is due.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly not permitted in any of our accommodation. Any person found to be doing so during their holiday or after vacating will be liable to pay for the valeting of the accommodation.

Cancellation

We appreciate sometimes situations can change resulting in a change in your holiday plans. We strongly advise you take out your own holiday insurance to cover you should you have to cancel, and we do offer our own cancellation policy that you can take out should you feel your reasons for cancelling might be covered. All cancellations must be put into writing. If you cancel 42 days before you’re due to arrive, your deposit will be lost. Cancellations less than 42 days before arrival will result in the balance of your holiday being lost, unless you have taken out our cancellation policy and the reason for cancellation is covered.

Amenities

Some amenities may be restricted according to demand at the beginning and end of the season. This includes The Courtyard Bar, Lodge Takeaway, on-site shop and some park activities. The badminton court may also be unavailable due to functions out of the main season.

Persons using Wooda Farm Holiday Park and its facilities do so at their own risk. Wooda will not accept liability for the loss or damage to persons and/or property, or facilities/amenities becoming unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.

Unfortunately all payments are non-refundable unless the activities are unable to go ahead. Bookings for these activities must be made by persons over the age of 18, and a person over the age of 18 must accompany children when partaking. VAT

Linen

All our holiday homes come complete with linen provided however don’t forget your towels. Linen is not provided for travel cots.

Personal Belongings

Please be sure to take all your personal belongings when you leave your accommodation. Management cannot accept responsibility for any items left behind.

Requests

We will do our best to honour requests, but we regret we are unable to guarantee a specific location of the holiday caravans.

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted in any of our accommodation, other than those specified as dog friendly by prior arrangement. One medium/large dog or two small dogs are permitted. A dog bed should be provided. Dogs are not allowed on soft furnishings. They must not be left unattended at any time. We regret we will not allow any dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. These include Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, XL Bully, Fila Brasiliero or crosses of the same.

Vehicles

Two vehicles are permitted per holiday caravan. Additional vehicles are required to be parked in the designated areas and will be charged for. We do not accept commercial or sign written vehicles onsite. Electric vehicles must be charged using the designated charging points on-site. It is forbidden to charge your car using power from your accommodation. Anyone found to be charging electric vehicles from their accommodation will be charged.

Any person in breach of the booking conditions or park rules may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave. No refund will be given. If you are renting a cottage in the winter, the holiday park closes on 4th November so all amenities will be unavailable whilst the park is closed. Pebbles is located in the main town of Bude but the parks facilities are all available for use when the park is open.

The lodges will be available from 4pm on the day of your arrival. We ask you to vacate your accommodation by 10.00am on the day of departure. Please let us know if your arrival will be after 6pm.

We require a 25% deposit to secure your reservation. Deposit payments are non refundable. Provisional bookings made by telephone will be cancelled after 7 days if not confirmed in writing with a deposit. We accept no responsibility for mistakes made when booking and paying a deposit over the telephone so please make sure you check your confirmation carefully once received.

Insurance

We advise to take out your own travel insurance covering any losses, injury, travel cost and accommodation cost.

Dogs

Only one large dog or two small dogs are permitted in Hartland, Widemouth and Duckpool lodges at Gwelva Hills. A dog bed should be provided. Dogs are not allowed on soft furnishings. They must not be left unattended at any time. An additional charge will be made for dogs. They must be exercised in the designated areas and kept on a lead at all times. We regret we will not allow any dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. These include Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosa,XL Bully, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasiliero or crosses of the same.

These amenities will also be closed between November – March, but there is a village pub within walking distance of Gwelva Hills. The badminton court may be sometimes unavailable due to functions out of the main season.

Your pitch will be available from noon on the booked day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure. We reserve the right to re-let pitches if not claimed by 6pm unless prior arrangements have been made with us.

Bookings

We require a deposit of 25% of the total cost of your holiday to secure your reservation, unless this is less than £50. If this is the case, a deposit of £50 will be required. If the cost of your booking is less than £50, the full amount will be required. Deposits paid are non-refundable, but we do offer a cancellation policy for a cost of £10 per week, which needs to be taken out at the time of making your reservation. Please see below for more information. Provisional bookings made by telephone will be cancelled after 7 days if not confirmed in writing with a deposit. We accept no responsibility for mistakes made when booking and paying a deposit over the telephone so please make sure you check your confirmation carefully once received.

Tent Size

We do not allow tents over 8m x 8m on one pitch. Tents exceeding this size will require two pitches.

Balance

All balances are payable 42 days in advance. We do offer a touring and camping cancellation policy; please see below. We strongly advise you take out your own holiday insurance incase of cancellation for reasons not covered by our policy. No refund will be given against reduction of dates booked or early departure.

Dogs must be kept on a lead (not exceeding two metres) at all times and exercised in the area provided. They must not be left unattended at any time. Cancellation

We appreciate sometimes your situation changes which may result in the need to amend or cancel your holiday. We will always try our best to accommodate your requirements subject to cost and availability. All cancellations must be put into writing. Should you need to cancel your holiday more than 42 days before you’re due to arrive, the deposit paid will be lost. If you cancel less than 42 days before you’re due to arrive, the balance paid will be lost unless you have taken out our cancellation policy and the reason for cancellation is covered. We also strongly advise that you take out your own holiday insurance.

Touring and Camping Cancellation Policy

The payment of £10 per week protects you and your party, up to and including the day before your holiday, against loss of all monies already paid (excluding £10 per week premium) due to redundancy, jury service, personal injury, illness or death to any member of your party.Supporting evidence i.e. Doctor’s Certificate, Redundancy Notice, etc, will be required. Please note that as of 5th March 2020, this policy does not cover a pandemic or epidemic. We recommend you take out your own holiday insurance as no refunds will be issued for any reason other than those covered by the cancellation plan.

Weather

We regret the weather conditions are beyond our control and cannot refund any monies if you cancel your booking or reduce your stay due to the weather.

Vehicles

One vehicle is permitted per pitch. Additional vehicles are required to be parked in the designated areas and will be charged for. We do not allow commercial vehicles on-site. Electric vehicles must be charged using the designated charging points on-site. It is forbidden to charge your car using power from your pitch. Anyone found to be charging electric vehicles from their pitch will be charged.

Accommodation must be vacated by 10.00am and touring and camping pitches by 10.30am unless you have permission to do so otherwise. Half a day rate applies if you wish to stay later (not available in school holiday periods). Please enquire at reception.

  • Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times, especially when using the park’s facilities.
  • We ask everyone to respect other visitors on the park and keep noise levels down between 10.30pm and 7.30am. This also includes televisions and radios, which should be used considerately during the day, and should not be audible outside of your accommodation between the hours of 10.30pm and 7.30am. During busy periods, we have security patrolling the site from 11pm – midnight. Please also do not hesitate to contact us out of hours on 07487 579368.
  • Parents are responsible for their children at all times. Please refrain from allowing your children to use the play area after 9.00pm. During busy periods, the gate to the children’s play area will be closed at 9pm.
  • Unruly behaviour or underage drinking is absolutely not tolerated. Anyone found to be behaving in this manner will be asked to leave.
  • In the interest of safety, skateboards and rollerblades are not permitted. Bicycles may be ridden on the park if used in a safe manner. Please do not ride bicycles around the busy areas of the Reception and Shop.
  • Dogs are welcome on the park, but for obvious reasons of health and hygiene accidental fouling must be cleared up immediately. Anyone not doing so will be asked to leave the park. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and never left unattended. Dogs must never be left unattended in your accommodation and are only permitted in dog friendly accommodation units. They must be exercised in the designated areas.
  • BBQ’s are permitted but MUST be raised off the grass at all times. They can be placed on a stand or bricks obtainable from the onsite shop to avoid burning the grass. Please never put your BBQ on the accommodation decking. Never take BBQs inside your accommodation or tent, and always make sure they are fully extinguished and cooled before disposing in the designated metal BBQ disposal bin found at the refuse points. We regret we do not allow fire pits, open fires or anything similar for health and safety reasons.
  • Only one vehicle is permitted per touring pitch and two per accommodation. Additional vehicles must be parked in the designated areas. Commercial/sign written vehicles are not permitted on site. Additional vehicles will be charged for. Please abide by the speed limit of 5mph at all times.
  • Ball games must not be played in the vicinity of any accommodation, caravan or tent. Please use the large area at the rear of the children’s play area.
  • Please note that we DO NOT allow the flying of flags or illuminated poles outside your accommodation, caravan, motorhome or tent.
  • Speed Limit is strictly 5mph for all vehicles, including bicycles.
  • Please respect our staff at all times. They are not responsible for the weather!

Payment of your booking fees constitutes acceptance of these park rules. Wooda Farm Holiday Park reserves the right to terminate the booking of anyone who fails to abide by the park rules. The Management’s decision will be final.

COVID-19 is now classed as an illness and will therefore be covered by the above plan if you can provide evidence that you, or any member of your party are unable to travel. Holiday insurance companies are now selling holiday insurance policies that cover COVID-19 so we strongly advise that your own holiday insurance is purchased in addition to our policy above to provide an extra level of protection.

Our booking conditions apply for all vouchers purchased.


Terms and conditions: Vouchers are available in any denomination from £10 – £1,000. All our gift vouchers have a unique number, they may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and they are non-transferrable. To redeem the voucher over the phone, the unique number must be quoted on booking and presented upon arrival. No photocopies will be accepted. Our same booking terms and conditions apply with a purchase of a voucher. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date purchased. Postage is free of charge to any address in mainland UK, postage abroad will be charged as an additional cost.

By participating in our giveaway, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and the decisions of Wooda Farm Holiday Park, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
